The Classroom of the Future is an interactive, technologically well-equipped learning environment with easily transformable furniture, digital learning tools and learning content that fosters creativity and positive learning. The classroom is designed to help students concentrate and foster collaboration. This is achieved through a variety of movement-inducing methods and visually pleasing décor. The technological equipment in the classroom is designed for both face-to-face and distance learning.

The Future Classroom is based on the Future Classroom Lab concept developed by the European Schoolnet and the teaching content is designed in line with the School 2030 guidelines. The classroom can accommodate up to 30 students. The VATP invites students and educators to attend thematic sessions, and gives educational technology developers the opportunity to test or demonstrate their technologies, offering them to students, educators and policy makers for use in the Future Classroom.
