Rūdolfs found the information about the competition in the website draugiem.lv. Since the study specialization of Rūdolfs is computer science and he is good at video montage, he decided to make a video on solar system. Rūdolfs submitted a video Extraordinary Solar System that consists of drawings and facts about each planet in solar system. Rūdolfs asserts that he wants to participate in the international camp to perfect his knowledge in astronomy, modern technologies, and to become friends with people who share his views. He is not certain about his future plans, but he admits of having interest to study in a space related field.

Laura knew about the competition already last year, but this year she summoned up her courage and decided to participate. She made up an album Space gallery including interesting facts about space and 29 self-drawn pictures. When her mom wanted to throw out the old albums, Laura had an idea to make an album with paintings related to space. The great idea and hard work was a success. Laura’s arguments for participating in the international camp were to increase knowledge on space, broaden her outlook, get experience, and to become friends with counterparts, who have similar interests. Laura may relate her future with space industry.
