Specialists from Ventspils High Technology Park work on creating interactive and popular scientific demonstration centre.

It would be the third demonstration centre in Latvia, but it will differ from centres in Rīga and Cēsis by offering a closer look on such fields as space and satellite technologies. The new demonstration centre will be both educational, and entertaining, therefore it could potentially become a tourism object in Ventspils.

The main difference from ordinary museums is that almost all exhibits in the demonstration centre will be interactive, and the visitors will be able to test different innovative and exciting technologies. The preparatory works are planned to be finished by the end of the year and the centre is planned to be open at the beginning of 2012. Constantly adding new objects to the exhibitions, demonstration centre could develop and later even moved to the separate building.
