The founders of Ventspils High Technology Park visited the production plant SIA Dendrolight Latvija and  Ventspils University College (VUC).

The head of the university Jānis Eglītis introduced visitors with the VUC, university’s growth since its establishment, and its future plans. The director of Engineering Department Jānis Harja showed guests the study laboratories that are considered to be one of the most advanced in the Baltic region.

Besides Ventspils Free Port Authority and Ventspils University College, such companies and associations as Ltd. Industriālās investīcijas, Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Association, Latvia’s branch office of Siemens Osakeyhtio, Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia were also represented in the meeting.
