Interview with Chairman of the Board Ivars Eglājs in the 7th anniversary of the VHTP

Today is the 7th anniversary of a foundation Ventspils High Technology Park. Tell me how all this began?

At the end of 2004 I arrived in Ventspils – city which I immediately found very attractive. I understood that here I want to work and stay. This was how the idea about development of electronics and high technologies in Ventspils was born.

Rūdolfs is a relative of famous Latvian writer Rūdolfs Blaumanis, boy’s great-great-grandfather was writer’s brother. That is why the boy’s parents decided to name their son after his famous relative.

Newsletter of Latvian Space Technology Cluster has been delivered to the readers!

On July 7, 2011, the first newsletter of Latvian Space Technology Cluster prepared by Ventspils High Technology Park has been delivered to the readers. The newsletter includes information on latest projects where cluster’s participants take part in, for instance, Mobility for Space and NordicBaltSat, as well as articles on European Satellite Navigation Competition, VHTP Space library, awarding ceremony of competition We Own The Sky etc.
