Eiropas Komisija aicina interesentus piedalīties Eiropas Kosmosa nedēļā, kas notiks no 3.-9.novembrim Tallinā, Igaunijā.

Jauns uzsaukums Eiropas Kosmosa aģentūras projektiem

Jau trešo reizi Latvijā notiek konkurss Latvijas uzņēmumiem un zinātniskajiem institūtiem par iespēju piedalīties Eiropas Kosmosa aģentūras (EKA) projektos kosmosa tehnoloģijās.

Trešais konkursa uzsaukums būs atvērts no 2017. gada 30. janvāra līdz 31. martam. Lai potenciālajiem projektu pieteicējiem detalizēti izskaidrotu pieteikšanās kārtību EKA projektos, 12. janvārī visi interesenti aicināti piedalīties seminārā.

Ventspils University College produces studies and takes part in international conference

Ventspils University College within the framework of the project as conducted a study of the satellite data usage to evaluate energy efficiency. During the study two scientific articles were prepared, and the results of the Project were presented in an international scientific conference.

A new satellite application Project has been implemented successfully

Since April of 2015, VHTP, in cooperation with its partners (Ventspils University College and IDN Research), has been working on a Project to implement satellite technologies for assessment of building energy efficiency and improvement planning. (Please see the full title of the Project below).

The overall aim of the Project: preparation of planning documentation for achieving EU 20/20/20 goals in Latvia, especially in Kurzeme region.

Seminars on determining energy efficiency by using satellite imagery and latest thermal energy auditing technologies

As a part of seminars in Kurzeme municipalities, a seminar on determining building energy efficiency by using satellite imagery and latest thermal energy auditing technologies was held in Talsi and Kuldīga municipalities.

During the seminar research “Regional strategy on reduction of green-house gas emissions from buildings in largest cities in Kurzeme Planning region, using satellite imaging and state-of-the-art thermal auditing technologies”, Project No. 2/EEZLV02/14/GS/058 was presented and attendees were able to learn more about:

Norwegian experts visit Latvia

Today in Riga a visit of experience exchange took place between the representatives and experts of the Foundation Ventspils High Technology Park, and non-profit IDN Research, on solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the Kurzeme planning district's urban residential areas using satellite imagery and the latest thermal auditing technologies".

Ventspils University College studies energoefficiency

The project "Regional-level strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions Kurzeme planning region's urban residential areas using satellite imagery and the latest thermal auditing technology" (hereinafter - the Project) has attracted a new partner - Ventspils University College, which will develop two scientific articles on the energy performance of buildings through remote sensing data.
