Small Innovative Business Promotion Network (SIB Net)

The aim of the project is to offer support for new innovative high growth firms e.g. “gazelles”, and to provide the necessary competence and support for prospective entrepreneurs, which is essential in overcoming the early stage of the initial idea and its implementation. The project will also encourage the collaboration between the academic sector and regional business incubators.

Project’s activities:

  • Analysis of innovative new start-ups of the existing situation to define, what obstructs companies in order to develop
  • Establishment of two pre-incubators in Ventspils and Tartu, creativity forums, investor forums, matching events
  • Development and assessment of the different financial tool concepts to be applicable and more appropriate for the program of territory
  • Training project partners and organizing events of experience exchange, in order to improve skills in developing, planning and implementing different grant projects
