Thursday, on April 18, from 9.30 to 15.00, Baloži Secondary School in Ķekava region will host Technical creativity workshops for already the second year in turn, informed representatives of the municipality.  

This year visitors of Technical creativity workshops will have an opportunity to carry out experiments in small rocket workshop, discuss rocket history and future development, make an aircraft model by them own, as well as gain knowledge about basics of chemistry and make a flubber by them own.

The interactive science centre managed by Kurzemes democentrs Ltd. of the Ventspils High Technology Park this summer could become one of the most attractive tourism objects in the northern part of Kurzeme.

Currently there is busy time for establishment of a software testing laboratory in the Ventspils High Technology Park.

Decision to establish the laboratory in territory of the Ventspils free port leased to the Technology Park was made by one of the leading in Latvia information technology enterprises, DPA, in cooperation with the University of Latvia.
