On January 25 by 24 o’clock everyone could vote and decide on the most successful Kurzeme’s industrial design

Yesterday on January 25 by 24 o’clock every interested could vote in home page www.kurzemesdizains.lv about the most successful Kurzeme industrial design exhibition product nominated by audience. Voting started on January 4, this year, and ended at midnight of January 25. The votes received at the trade centres in Ventspils, Liepāja, and Kuldīga are going to be added to the votes of the Internet, and results are going to be announced in award ceremony on February 2 taking place in „Mārtiņzāle”, Pilsētas laukums 4, Kuldīga.

40 works reflecting goods and technologies made in the region participate in the design exhibition and competition Elements. Public interest is very huge, and it is shown by the number of received votes – more than 21,000. Three works were closely competing for the first prize – solid wood cellular material DendroLight made by Dendrolight Latvija Ltd., design product Wooly World woollen bear made by the Wooly World Ltd., and chair Pally made by the MWF Ltd.

Thanks to everyone who voted and expressed their opinion so that all of us could define the most successful design in Kurzeme where a lot of interesting products are being made!
