Development projects


 

In the nearest future VHTP plans to do considerable development in the Technology Park by implementing several large-scale infrastructure projects: Innovation Centre with office premises and laboratories, Electronics Centre next to the current VHTP building, new Production Building, and Interactive Centre for Education and Science.      
 

NB! VHTP Technology Park invites companies, educational, research, and training centres to evolve their activity in the Technology Park by taking advantage of the possibilities provided by development projects, as well as introducing own initiatives, ideas and new projects.
 

Innovation Centre

The technical project of the Innovation Centre building is finished and approved.

It is planned to build two blocks for the building:

  • Block A with total space of 2600 m2, where office premises for new and current leaseholders of Technology Park and companies of Business Incubator  will be located
  • Block B with total space of 820 m2, where workshops, laboratories will be located etc., including the Clean room

Electronics Centre

Electronics Centre’s sketch design has been drawn up, and its total space is 3500 m2.

Initially, Electronics Centre was planned as an extension of Ltd. Ventspils Electronics Factory, where the second assembly line of printed circuits and robotized line for producing the end-products would be installed, and also the Clean room would be created
 Production Building

The technical project of Production building, which is designed for producing electronics, is finished and approved. The total space of the building is 2200 m2.

Interactive Centre for Education and Science

The technical project of Interactive Centre for Education and Science is finished and approved, and the total space of the building is 2200 m2. VHTP already implements projects, and in the result a part of Interactive Centre for Education and Science in the current building of Technology Park will be equipped with various stands and expositions that afterwards will be placed in the new building when the project will be implemented.
