The product developed by the Ventspils enterprise MWF Ltd. chair-toy Pally that won the 1^st prize at the Kurzeme industrial design exhibition “Elements 2012” this year will participate also in the multidisciplinary trade fair “Made in Baltics 2012” from April 19 to 22 taking place in Riga, Skonto Hall. The MWF Ltd. will offer an opportunity for visitors to try the chair-toy Pally and win it by fighting in a captivating competition.

Wood furniture producing enterprise MWF Ltd. will participate in an exhibition of such range for the first time. Representatives of the enterprise will introduce visitors with its basic activity and the first design product Pally. Every interested will have an opportunity to try it and making her or his own drawing from the colored sticks participate in the competition „Become a Pally artist!”. Provisions of the competition are available here! It will be possible to vote for the made drawings on social networks www.draugiem.lv/mwf and http://www.facebook.com/mwf. Every participant will receive tasty consolation prizes from Saldus Pārtikas kombināts Ltd. but family the drawing made by which will receive the most votes will win the chair Pally.

Pally differs with its original design and well tough-out way of use – it is both the furniture and toy at the same time helping to develop children skills: coordination, imagination, and creative thinking. Chair’s construction is made of stand and seat that unlike traditional solutions consists of many colored wooden sticks that can be moved out. By changing them it is possible to make a lot of different patterns working similarly as with mosaics. By placing all the sticks in the seat one can get a stable and conveniently usable chair.

Participation of the MWF Ltd. in the trade fair is supported by the Ventspils High Technology Park. This support to the enterprise was given on February, this year, for the successful participation on the Kurzeme industrial design exhibition “Elements 2012”.

The enterprise MWF has been established in the middle of 2011 in Ventspils with an aim to create new products of design furniture, as well as to provide producing and availability for consumers of these products. Pally is the first design product of the MWF that according to decision of enterprise’s managers will be put for industrial producing. Day to day the enterprise produces solid wood furniture of different types. The major production is children furniture and exclusive kitchen sets that particularly fit in holiday houses and rest-houses.

Trade fair „Made in Baltics 2012” is an event for all family where every visitor will find interesting for him or her things. A special surprise has been made for the youngest visitors of the trade fair as at the time parents will get introduced with producers of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, children will have an opportunity to play in the special children corner where also the chair Pally will be and enjoy free-of-charge Annels entertainments at the amusement ground.
