Baltic Technology Group and Unisys Corporation guest lecture in Ventspils University College

On October 18, 2011 management representatives of Baltic Technology Group (BTG) and international Unisys Corporation will visit Ventspils and give a guest lecture in Ventspils University College. Representatives will also pay a visit to Ventspils High technology Park (VHTP), to discuss possibilities for further cooperation.

BTG is one of the biggest IT companies in Latvia, since September of 2011. it has established branch in VHTP, thus providing job opportunities for programmers.

“We are very glad that such serious IT companies as BTG and their cooperation partners choose Ventspils city as a place for development of their activities. BTG provides IT services since 1991. Company’s speciality is development of AB Suite & EAE (LINC) solutions and programming, they serve markets form whole world. In BTG operates about sixty programmers”, says VHTP Chairman of the Board Ivars Eglājs.

The IT students of Ventpsils University College, potential BTG and Unisys cooperation partners and other interested are welcome to attend guest lecture that will take place on October 18, 2011. in Ventpsils University College, room 108, from 12:45 to 14:15.

During the guest lecture Director of Human Resources and Contract Operations Astra Ķikute will explain the operation of company, its future development possibilities, job places in Ventpsils and AB Suite project opportunities for programmers. Whereas marketing manager of Unisys Maarten Schneider will present AB Suite programming environment and its advantages, and also inform Ventpsils University College students about the opportunities to participate in testing of Unisys products.
