Garage48 in cooperation with the Ventspils City Council, Microsoft Latvia, and Credit24 calls Latvian programmers and designers to participate in development of mobile and web applications in Ventspils from May 10 to 12.

Garage48 is the most popular in Baltics and recognised in the world event of promoting new IT products and IT business. It has been held all over the world for already more than 20 times. Its main approach is “Less talks, more action!”

Short time has left to submit your application to competition of business ideas, “Brave ideas support programme”, – only today, on April 30, enterprising people from Kurzeme can manage to send in their brave ideas and apply for valuable prizes – a portable computer and free consultations to develop the business. But 20 the best ideas will receive consolation prizes from organisers of the competition – Ventspils High Technology Park, Kurzeme Business Incubator, and SEB bank.

After 3 weeks more than 100 people with various competences and experience will come together in Ventspils in order to participate in the first in Kurzeme Garage48 event and jointly elaborate business ideas for mobile or web applications. Majority of visitors will be participants but there will be also a team of 10-12 organisers and mentors so that teams of participants would be able to reach the maximum possible result in 48 hours.
