VACANCY: Norwegian IT enterprise InoSoft is looking for a Project developer

The fast-growing Norwegian IT enterprise InoSoft International specialising in development of the web pages welcome a Project developer to join their creative programmers team due to operation launch in Ventspils. This will be already the second subsidiary of the enterprise outside Norway – since 2011, the enterprise successfully operates in Russian market.

Project manager Natālija Nudga works for the Business Incubator already from its activity beginning. She had helped to nurse numerous business ideas during these years, and she makes no secret that there is more and more work every year because a number of enterprises is growing. However satisfaction moments follow each other as fruit can be seen. New entrepreneurs who told some time ago about their idea to Incubator are now proud about self-created products.

„We own the sky 2012” has started!

Today a competition „We own the sky 2012” has started! We are calling all Latvian pupils to take this chance, submit a competition work related to space, and win a great prize – an opportunity to get to space camp in America in summer.

A competition work can be of every type – a drawing, paper, poem, dance, or anything else. It means that everyone can participate!

Today is the 7th anniversary of a foundation Ventspils High Technology Park. Tell me how all this began?

At the end of 2004 I arrived in Ventspils – city which I immediately found very attractive. I understood that here I want to work and stay. This was how the idea about development of electronics and high technologies in Ventspils was born.

The winner of Kurzeme industrial design exhibition Elements 2012 has been announced

Yesterday, February 2, the winner of Kurzeme industrial design exhibition “Elements 2012” was announced. Pally chair by company MWF Ltd. receiving the most votes was awarded as the most successful industrial design of Kurzeme region in 2012.

The Pally chair greceived 2791 votes in total and was followed by the product of Dendrolight Latvija Ltd. – the solid wood cellular material – which received 2707 votes.

Delegates from Latvia attended international space industry conference

23 delegates from Latvian companies and institutes attended an international space industry conference “Broadening the Base of Europe’s Space Community” that took place in Tallinn, on February 1–3. The conference was organised within the “NordicBaltSat” project.
