9 cities and towns under one roof – you will say it is not possible and you will be wrong. A conference of the Business Incubator held at the end of March in Liepāja gathered approximately 100 new entrepreneurs from 9 Latvian cities and towns – Ventspils, Talsi, Liepāja, Kuldīga, Saldus, Jelgava, Dobele, Jēkabpils, and Aizkraukle. Traditionally practical lectures on funding attraction questions were carried out within the event, as well as there were presentations of 6 enterprises for experts aimed at taking advices for business development. However this time organizers had thought also about novelties in the run of the event.

Enterprises of the IT field had a separate session organized within the conference and broadcasted online. Thus all interested had a unique opportunity remotely participate in the event and listen to presentations about accelerators in the Baltics, as well as PR activities for business start-ups.  

Finance expert Jānis Lazdāns from Capitalia, export promoter Rolans Blezūrs from 999 Design, representative of the SEED Forum Gints Vīns, speciālists of SEB banka and Hipotēku banka, Neils Kalniņš from NK Consulting, such enterprises from Liepāja as Lauma Lingerie and Liepājas papīrs, as well as representatives of Liepāja municipality supported the event with their participation.

After the formal part all participants have an opportunity to contest a title of the most sportive town or city. Already the second year in turn the VHTP Business Incubator represented by entrepreneurs from Ventspils and Talsi was titled.

But in the evening there were awarding of sports winners and match making in informal environment.

It is positively that enterprises of the Business Incubator are willing also to support organization of such events – Ventspils representatives of the Marathon club organized unconventional sports, Sveču darbnīca (Ventspils) and NK Agr (Saldus) provided thank-you gifts for experts, an enterprise from Liepāja Durbes veltes ensured tasty gifts for the winners of the sports, entrepreneurs from Kuldīga DTT Solutions were responsible for musical accompaniment of the event, but Windau studio from Ventspils dealt with memorializing the event from all angles in the length of entire day. Also an enterprise from Jelgava Veritweet gave its contribution organizing online broadcast of the IT session.

Organizers of the event the VHTP Business Incubator, Kurzeme Business Incubator, and the JIC Business Incubator express their gratitude to all lecturers, experts, and entrepreneurs for participation in the Business conference and hope for as close and qualitative cooperation also in future!
